Maggie Meister always has tales of the wonderful things that she has found in Italy. She used to work for us and then she moved to Naples, Italy for 5 years. She now comes back to teach as a guest instructor. Her beautiful work is inspired by the ancient Roman jewelry found in Italian museums.
As Maggie travels, she has continued to find new sources and old stashed of wonderful treasures! She will be bringing these treasures to us in a trunk show this March. She will have an assortment of new Venetian beads, unique chevrons, and unset cameos that are one-of-a-kind made by maestro Scala. Maggie will also have some of the fabulous “Max” beads. They are a Venetian hollow blown bead that has then been cold-cut to reveal the pattern in the millefiore cane. In addition, Maggie will also be bringing her kits based on the ancient Roman jewelry! You are sure to find great treasures! THURSDAY, FRIDAY & SATURDAY
